Bring a data challenge. Let’s explore what we can do together.

Useful work starts with a question that matters. Complex Data Insights welcomes organisations, researchers, educators, and practitioners who want to combine expertise to understand data, build practical skills, or develop a useful output.

One clearly scoped challenge at a time.

What could we work on?

Your challenge might involve everyday spreadsheets, survey responses, interviews, business records, or complex scientific data. These are possible starting points; the work is shaped through discussion.

Understand your data

Answer a meaningful question

Explore patterns, compare results, or interpret written feedback. A possible output is a checked analysis and a clear report explaining the findings and limitations.

Strengthen a workflow

Make analytical work easier to review and repeat

Improve data preparation, quality checks, analysis, or reporting. A possible output is a documented workflow that others can understand and reuse.

Build practical skills

Develop learning around a real task

Work together on a focused training activity, worked example, or guided project suited to a particular audience and its learning needs.

Contribute expertise

Bring complementary knowledge

Contribute subject expertise, analytical methods, learning design, or digital skills to a shared challenge. Agree on a useful contribution and how the work will be reviewed.

Start small, with a shared purpose.

01 / Describe the need

Bring the context

Tell us the question, who needs the answer, the data or resources available, and what you would like to achieve.

02 / Agree on the work

Set a realistic scope

Discuss feasibility, contributions, responsibilities, an intended output, and a review point. Agree on timing and any budget or fees before starting.

03 / Work and review

Check what the evidence supports

Develop the agreed output, review decisions and limitations together, and use what we learn to decide whether a further step is useful.

Clear reasoning. Shared expectations.

CDI brings experience in data science, computational biology, bioinformatics, statistical analysis, and reproducible workflows. Collaborators bring the context and complementary expertise needed for the specific question.

AI and digital tools can support the work where appropriate. Their outputs still need checking against the data, methods, and context. The aim is an output people can understand, evaluate, and explain.

Before exchanging restricted data or starting work, we agree on appropriate access, confidentiality, ownership, attribution, and how any outputs may be used or shared.

What could we achieve together?

A short outline is enough to begin. Email info@complexdatainsights.com with:

  • Your challenge: what you want to understand, improve, or produce.
  • Your context: who the work is for and the data or resources available.
  • Your contribution: the expertise, access, or support you can bring.
  • Your circumstances: any timeline, time zone, or budget considerations.

You can describe the data without attaching it. Please leave confidential records and personal information about other people out of the initial enquiry.
